We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, coaching team members in agile practices, and ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum principles. The Scrum Master will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to help deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, Scrum principles, and best practices.
  • Help the team to define and refine their processes, encouraging continuous improvement and self-organization.
  • Identify and resolve impediments that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure clear communication of the product backlog and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent team environment that promotes open communication and trust.
  • Monitor and report on team progress, including velocity, sprint burn-down, and other relevant metrics.
  • Support the organization in its Agile transformation and guide other teams on their agile journey.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Supplier key personnel should have experience working with key stakeholders to prioritise backlogs, negotiate scope and manage product expectations.
  • Supplier key personnel should have proven experience with the Agile Scrum Methodology, including the facilitation of all ceremonies, acting as a key impediment remover and monitoring team progress throughout each sprint.
  • Supplier key personnel should have experience in motivating and facilitating delivery from Agile teams as a servant leader.
  • Supplier key personnel should have experience with tools to manage Kanban boards, backlogs, task boards and sprint reporting.
  • Supplier key personnel should have experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure or experience with Scaled Agile methodology is desirable.
  • Experience in the business analysis domain is desirable.
