Job Overview

Our client, a plastic manufacturing company, is looking for a screen printing operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating the screen printing machine to print product specifications, logos, batch numbers, expiry dates, and other required details on plastic buckets. The role ensures all printing is done accurately according to approved artwork, production timelines, and quality standards, while minimizing wastage and maintaining safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

● Set up and operate the screen printing machine for printing on plastic buckets.
● Fix and align screens correctly to ensure accurate positioning of artwork and specifications.
● Mix and prepare inks according to required color codes and production specifications.
● Ensure correct printing of product details such as: Company name and logo, Batch numbers,Manufacturing date,Product specifications
● Conduct test prints before mass production to confirm print clarity, alignment, and color
accuracy.
● Monitor print quality continuously during production to prevent smudging, fading, or misalignment.
● Remove and segregate defective printed buckets.
● Clean screens, squeegees, and printing equipment after each production run.
● Maintain proper ink storage and minimize wastage.


Requirements


  • Minimum of a certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years’ experience operating screen printing machines.

  • Technical or machine operation certification will be an added advantage, especially in a plastic manufacturing company.

  • Experience working in a plastic manufacturing company background will be an added advantage.
