Job Summary

  • Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (4 10-hour shifts)
  • Rate of Pay: $26 - $30

The Screen Press Operator is responsible for independently operating a screen-printing press, performing routine maintenance, and producing high-quality printed products that meet established production standards and customer specifications.

  • Set up, operate, and break down manual or automatic screen-printing presses.
  • Load screens, inks, substrates, and materials according to job specifications.
  • Align screens and ensure accurate registration, color matching, and ink coverage.
  • Monitor press operation during production runs and adjust as needed.
  • Inspect printed products for quality, defects, and consistency.
  • Maintain ink viscosity, color accuracy, and print standards throughout runs.
  • Perform routine press cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow job tickets and production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with reclaiming screens and general shop tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Critical Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Printing or screen press experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow job instructions and production tickets.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment.
  • Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
