Job Description

Title: SCOM Administration

Total Years of Experience: 4 years to 7 years

Location: Coimbatore

Role: SCOM Engineer – L2 / B2

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft SCOM infrastructure and Management Packs.
• Perform advanced alert analysis, correlation, and root-cause identification.
• Tune thresholds, rules, monitors, and overrides to reduce alert noise.
• Handle incidents, problems, and changes independently.
• Integrate SCOM with ITSM tools, CMDBs, and other monitoring platforms.
• Create and maintain SOPs, dashboards, and operational reports.
• Guide and mentor L1 SCOM engineers. [RE: Open positions | Outlook]

Required Skills

• Hands-on Microsoft SCOM administration
• SCOM Management Packs, rules, monitors, and overrides
• Windows Server and SQL Server monitoring
• PowerShell scripting at intermediate level
• ITIL processes and operational workflows
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM integration exposure
