General Information

The Specialist - Supply Chain Management supports Manager and carries out activities for more than one functional area of supply chain management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide inputs for formulation of the functional strategies and ensure their implementation.
  • Conduct SCM related research and analyses, support development of relevant policies and budget planning.
  • Identify optimization areas for processes and systems, suggest improvement to better meet business requirements.
  • Carry out accountabilities assigned to meet targets related to cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline.
  • KPI Management: Track and drive actions for SCM KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct monthly reporting and data analysis on key SCM metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Oversight: Responsible for the creation, development, and forecasting of yearly budgets, overseeing current year status versus forecast.
  • Deviation Management: Develop and implement corrective actions for deviations in SCM KPIs and departmental targets.
  • Cost Saving Initiatives: Identify, drive, and implement initiatives to achieve cost savings within the supply chain.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate internally and externally to streamline actions, set up and lead follow-up calls with stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Serve as a key user for data reporting and implementation of new SCM tools.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and BW.
  • Proficiency in MS Office package.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Autonomous and self-driven.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, have close visual acuity, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to maneuver objects, tools. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, push, pull, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

This position is required to know and understand the current specifications and procedures of the Quality Policy as well as the Safety and Environment Policy.
