Job Description

Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Organizing and coordinating domestic and international transportation to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
• Monitoring shipment schedules and proactively managing transportation issues to prevent delivery delays
• Ensuring that customers receive parts and products in line with agreed delivery dates and service requirements
• Coordinating closely with production, planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure material availability for upcoming shipments
• Ensuring compliance with customer-specific logistics requirements, shipping instructions, labeling standards, and delivery processes
• Tracking transportation performance, resolving delivery exceptions, and communicating shipment status to customers and internal stakeholders

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification; equivalent professional experience may also be considered
• 2-3 years of experience in Shipping, Logistics, Transportation Coordination, Supply Chain Operations or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in coordinating domestic and international shipments, including carrier management and export documentation
• Profound understanding of customer-specific logistics requirements, delivery performance management, and transportation processes
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, as well as MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer orientation with a focus on ensuring on-time delivery and high service levels
• Business fluent English is mandatory; German and / or French language skills are a plus
