We are seeking a Scientist II with expertise in the development, commercialization and technical support of qPCR, dPCR, and molecular biology products. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our manufacturing, quality control, and product integrity teams locally, while partnering with R&D colleagues across the globe. You will play a key part in driving innovation, product and process development, and quality improvements that ensure the highest standards of scientific excellence and product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Assay and reagent development design and implement dPCR/qPCR experiments to support reagent formulation, optimization, and performance validation for scientific and diagnostic applications.
Develop and optimize product manufacturing technologies, bioanalytical methods for product and raw material analysis.
Transfer newly developed products from R&D to manufacturing.
Prepare validation plans, studies and reports on technologies and scientific techniques.
Prepare and implement product stability programs.
Coordinate the process of controlling changes in product compositions, manufacturing processes, and analytical methods.
Investigate customer complaints.
Prepare and present experimental data summaries and reports.
Scientific literature analysis related to products under development and new idea generation.
Experience and Qualifications
BS or MS in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field.
1+ years of work experience in the laboratory.
Wet lab experience related to qPCR/dPCR consumables development (i.e. assay, master mix).
Experience with new product design and development, familiar with design control process.
Experience performing stability, guard-banding, and robustness studies using statistical and analytical tools.
Understanding of nucleic acid and protein chemistry, enzyme kinetics and qPCR reagent formulation.
Problem-solving and data interpretation skills, with the ability to integrate results across platforms.
Effective communicator capable of communicating analytical results clearly.
Good knowledge of English (written and oral) (level B2 - C1).
Salary
2183- 3270 gross/month
The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 183,33–€3 270,83.
