  • Provide global scientific support for probiotic products, customer projects, troubleshooting, and product performance questions.
  • Translate experimental results and complex scientific data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations for internal teams and customers.
  • Prepare and maintain protocols, SOPs, technical reports, and other scientific documentation to ensure robust and reproducible workflows.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Technical Support, Marketing, regional teams, laboratories, and external partners to advance probiotic products and services.
  • Deliver scientific training and presentations and contribute to knowledge sharing across the global organization.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • One to three years of experience in probiotics, silage microbiology, or related areas, with hands-on experience in bacterial cultivation, microbial enumeration, and culture-based laboratory techniques.
  • Experience with microbial enumeration, spore recovery, viability, identification, characterization, or functional assays. Experience with PCR, qPCR, anaerobic cultivation, or pathogen-inhibition assays would be an advantage.
  • Experience analyzing microorganisms in complex matrices such as feed, premixes, silage, or fermented materials would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in assay development, optimization, validation, troubleshooting, and transfer.
  • Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, statistics, and clear scientific documentation.
  • Preferably expertise in laboratory automation, liquid handlers, and high-throughput microbiological workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively across disciplines, cultures, and locations and to communicate complex science to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
  • A proactive, open-minded, and solution-oriented approach, with curiosity, adaptability, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
