ABOUT
THE JOB

Ceva-Phylaxia
seeks applicants for the full-time position of Scientist in the Immunology
Method Platform the Research and Development Biology Directorate of
Ceva’s Phylaxia Campus in Budapest’s 10th district.

The
Phylaxia Campus is one of the flagship sites of Ceva Animal Health group. The
Immunological Methods Platform is a 14-member team operating at a high
professional standard, which supports the entire vaccine development process
through the development of immunoanalytical methods—primarily ELISA assays.

WHAT
YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Platform Leader, your
responsibilities would include providing immunoanalytical support for the
entire vaccine development process, developing new methods and reagents, and
supporting their application in research and development as well as
manufacturing activities.

YOUR DAY
TO DAY

• Coordination and professional oversight of vaccine analytical development projects
• Coordination of optimization and validation of ELISA methods
• Ensuring the production and continuous availability of reagents (reference, polyclonal, and monoclonal antibodies)
• Application of protein analytical methods and provision of technical/professional support
• Identification, development, and fine-tuning of new analytical procedures
• Planning, organizing, and providing professional leadership for the laboratory phase of development projects in collaboration with laboratory technicians
• Supporting and monitoring method transfer processes
• Supervising the reliable execution of experiments and preparing related documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GLP requirements
• Analysis and interpretation of results, and preparation of scientific reports in both Hungarian and English
• Liaison and professional collaboration with internal and external partners, as well as subject matter experts

Your
profile :

WHAT YOU
WILL BRING

• MSc degree in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, veterinary medicine, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of various protein analytical methods, protein modifications, epitope mapping
• High-level proficiency in English, both spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking, strong problem-solving abilities
• Solid computer skills: data management and processing, report and presentation preparation
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, team player
• Creative, innovative, and enthusiastic
