Scientist, Analytical R&D

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to support stability activities, sample shipments and general sample management within the Analytical Research & Development (ARD) team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on laboratory work, coordination tasks and maintaining efficient sample workflows.

Scope & Responsibilities

• Oversee activities related to stability studies, including sample pulling, charging and documentation.
• Coordinate timely shipments of samples to internal Alvotech laboratories and third‑party labs.
• Receive, prepare, aliquot and organize samples and materials for analytical testing.
• Perform general sample handling, buffer preparation and inventory management.
• Prepare and review documents required for sample testing, shipments and stability activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all sample‑related work.
• Perform routine stock checks and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Support process improvements within ARD sample management.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, Veeva trainings and EHS requirements.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Relevant laboratory or scientific experience, preferably within biopharmaceuticals or analytical development.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Competency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sample preparation).
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Reliability, flexibility and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to follow SOPs, documentation standards and safety procedures.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
