Job Description

The Scientist is responsible for Flow Cytometry application in GCV projects development with best class quality of researching hotspot and frontier targets to help our customer discover more.

This position reports to a senior scientist and is part of the Characterization team located in Hangzhou and will be a n on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Study deeply on targets information, including target function, expression pattern, subcellular location, antibody conjugation and etc.
• Be responsible for the validation of the Flow Cytometry application for new GCV development or replenishment products.
• Design, plan and analysis of Flow Cytometry experiment, and prepare product datasheets.
• Know antibody screening methods includes WB, ICC, IF, IHC, and IP, evaluate an antibody by all applications.
• Coach new research associate / scientist.
• Help team members to deal with the result analysis of tough projects.
• Solve the problems around Flow Cytometry application in antibody development.
• Provide scientific support of Flow Cytometry application for customers.
• Support the line manager’s work and need to communicate with other teams closely.
• Perform additional duties and/or other projects as required or assigned.

  The essential requirements of the job include:

  Hands-on experience in Flow Cytometry, including experimental design, FlowJo data analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, or a related discipline, is preferred. International education or research experience is a plus.
• Experience with human or mouse primary cell culture is preferred.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with strong written and spoken English proficiency.

• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Laboratory automation, instrument programming, and workflow development.
