Job Description

BASIC PURPOSE: Serves as a cross functional and analytic leader, responsible for driving operational improvements, value creation, and business performance within the medical and scientific office and across the division. Acting as a central integrator across science, product, commercial, and operations functions, the position provides data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and execution leadership to shape differentiated solutions and accelerate organizational growth.

Leads the development and application of analytics, metrics frameworks, and strategic initiatives to enhance decision-making, strengthen competitive positioning, and advance the organization’s scientific and operational capabilities. Plays a critical role in aligning stakeholders around a unified scientific strategy and enabling execution through cross-functional coordination

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights to guide strategy, optimize performance, and improve decision-making across the organization

  • Lead the design, implementation, and adoption of analytical tools, including dashboards and reporting platforms, to enhance transparency and scalability

  • Drive standardization of performance measurement frameworks and reporting practices across the department

  • Support the development and execution of scientific strategies that enable growth, differentiation, and long-term value creation

  • Lead strategic initiatives, including development of business cases, analytical models, and performance tracking frameworks

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering insights that inform investment decisions and departmental priorities

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making

  • Partner cross-functionally to align marketing messaging, operational priorities, and execution with division goals

  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to build a cohesive, high-performing scientific ecosystem

  • Lead complex, cross-functional growth initiatives, gaining stakeholder buy-in across a matrixed organization.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a science-related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 10+ years of experience in scientific or technical roles within the clinical trials or life sciences industry

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare and/or clinical trial environments

  • Advanced analytical reasoning and data interpretation skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence diverse, cross-functional stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive alignment in complex, matrixed organizations

  • Proven experience developing, launching, and measuring the success of strategic initiatives

  • Executive presence with strong presentation and storytelling capabilities

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple competing priorities effectively

  • Positive, collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement

  • Ability to work in the United States in a remote or hybrid environment.
