Healthcare conversations increasingly happen online, and as Scientific Digital Liaison you will help shape how Novo Nordisk shows up in credible, non-promotional scientific spaces. You will identify and build trusted, non-promotional scientific relationships with digitally active healthcare professionals and Digital Opinion Leaders, translate digital and field learnings into actionable insights, and help shape local medical strategy. Your work will advance balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange for people living with serious chronic diseases.
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following essential experience and attributes:
You will connect scientific expertise, digital fluency and strong compliance judgement to build responsible medical engagement and generate insights that inform strategy.
You will join Medical Affairs, reporting to the Senior Manager Medical Excellence and partner closely with Medical Advisors, Communications, Customer Engagement, Business Development and Partnerships, and cross-functional brand and therapy-area teams. Externally, you will engage Digital Opinion Leaders, Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, scientific experts, clinical educators and relevant professional communities where approved.
This is a field-based role with a national remit and a strong digital engagement focus. National travel is required, and some evening or weekend work may be needed to support engagement activities.
You will work at the forefront of how medical engagement is evolving, with the trust to work independently and the support of a collaborative, cross-functional community. You will broaden your scientific and digital expertise, contribute to local and regional medical planning, and grow through a curious, test-and-learn approach in a fast-changing external environment.
In addition to being part of a collaborative and authentic culture, our employees are rewarded with Health and Wellbeing days, gifted leave between Christmas and New Year, extensive learning and development opportunities, and regular team and company offsite events. Our field staff are equipped with the latest technology – laptop/tablet and mobile phone – along with a very competitive car allowance.
