The Medical Information & Communication (MI&C) team is part of AstraZeneca’s Medical Delivery function and comprises experienced scientific communicators.
We collaborate closely with Global and US partners to implement scientific content strategies and deliver high-quality, compliant, and evidence-based medical information. The team plays a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals through accurate, customer-focused scientific communications aligned with regulatory standards and company policies
As a Scientific Communication & Medical Information Specialist, you will demonstrate your scientific expertise to develop and deliver a wide range of medical communications and scientific content.
This is a medical communications-focused role requiring strong writing and content development capability (not clinical study report writing). You will work closely with global partners to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging, and impactful materials, while also contributing to continuous improvement through digital tools and innovation.
Scientific degree:
3–5 years’ experience in:
Strong experience in medical communications content development, including:
Proven ability to:
Strong communication, organisational, and project management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams
Proficiency with digital tools and content platforms
Understanding of regulatory, legal, and compliance standards within Medical Affairs
