The Intern will support the Scientific Affairs Department by contributing to ongoing projects, conducting research and analysis, and assisting with day-to-day operational activities. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic organizational environment. The intern will work closely with team members and leadership to develop practical skills while delivering meaningful contributions to Scientific Affairs objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Project Support
Assist in the execution of ongoing projects by gathering data, preparing materials, and tracking progress
Contribute to project deliverables, including presentations, reports, and documentation
Support cross-functional initiatives as needed
Research & Analysis
Conduct literature reviews, market research, or data analysis relevant to team objectives
Summarize findings into clear, concise reports or presentations
Identify key insights and trends to support decision-making
Operational Support
Assist with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
Maintain organized records, files, and documentation
Support scheduling, coordination, and internal communications
Data Management & Reporting
Collect, clean, and analyze data using tools such as Excel or other platforms
Assist in maintaining dashboards or tracking metrics (if applicable)
Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Collaboration & Communication
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project discussions
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Present findings or updates when required
Learning & Development
Actively engage in learning opportunities, training sessions, and mentorship
Seek feedback and demonstrate continuous improvement
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices
Requirements
Undergraduate/ Graduate full-time student with at least 2 years in school. Pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences-related, Nursing, Pharmaceutical or similar fields.
Comfortable working in an office environment and has strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience doing analysis in Excel, R, python or GraphPad highly valued.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Ability to operate independently or in a team.
Salary Range : $20/Hr- $25/ Hr
The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
