Ipswich High School is seeking to appoint a part time Science Technician to work across our science department as part of a hard-working team. Most of the work will be as a Chemistry technician.
Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3 – 18.
You should be reliable, well organised and have a working knowledge and interest in science. Previous technician experience is desirable as is a Science related degree, and A Levels in at least one science subject is essential for those without a degree.
You will be required to provide a high level of technical assistance to teaching staff in the department, supporting them in being able to deliver the curriculum up to A Level.
