About the Team:

Our School Improvement and Monitoring Team is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people across Lambeth. Working collaboratively with schools, trusts and governors, we provide strategic support, challenge and leadership to drive educational excellence, inclusion and improvement. About the Role:

As a School Improvement Adviser, you will support schools to raise standards, strengthen leadership and improve outcomes for children and young people across Lambeth. Working collaboratively with headteachers, governors, trusts and partner organisations, you will provide strategic challenge, support and advice to schools, helping to drive educational excellence, inclusion and effective governance. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to analyse performance information, excellent communication and influencing skills, and a proven understanding of effective school improvement practice.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing advice, challenge and support to school leaders to secure sustainable school improvement.

Supporting schools to improve leadership, teaching, learning, inclusion and pupil outcomes.

Identifying, assessing and monitoring risk in schools and coordinating targeted intervention where required.

Working with governors, trusts and education partners to strengthen leadership and accountability.

Analysing performance data and providing strategic advice to support improvement planning.

Developing positive relationships across maintained schools, academies and trusts to promote collaboration and system-wide improvement.
