Salary: Base salary of £24,000 on target-earnings of £29,000 per annum


Location: Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter B18 6NF


Working Hours: Full-time position; 35 hours per week; 8am-4pm Monday-Friday

Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children's self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching tens of thousands of children every week – and we’re growing fast. We have recently opened our second office in the UK, based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. We all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. We’re now looking for a Schools Account Manager to join our friendly team here at Rocksteady, a company with real purpose. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and varied role, where you will be developing positive relationships with Schools. With excellent product knowledge, providing help and support by actively listening, demonstrating empathy and being solutions focused. As a Schools Account Manager you will

• Draw on your experience of Education / School settings to have meaningful, informed conversations with Headteachers and senior leaders about their experience of Rocksteady.
• Use your understanding of the challenges schools face to solve complex issues with empathy, initiative, and a solutions-focused approach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop long-term strategies that help schools sustain and grow Rocksteady in their school.
• Confidently communicate the value of our music lessons to school communities, spotting opportunities to reach more children and those that could benefit most.
• Accountable for retention across your designated area.

As a Schools Account Manager you'll :

• Have a passion for children's education.
• Have experience working in an Educational setting ideally supporting primary schools.
• Confident, concise, and persuasive communicator.
• Be personable and approachable with fantastic listening skills.
• Have strong empathy and high levels of integrity.
• Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and have a positive attitude.
• Highly organised and target-driven.
