Kirksville, MO - Serving Kirksville, Green City, Novinger, Schuyler, & Brashear Schools

Full‑Time | Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

As a School‑Based Therapist, you’ll provide counseling and support services on‑site at schools during school hours, helping students succeed both emotionally and academically.

Your role will include:

  • Providing individual and family counseling tailored to each student’s needs

  • Managing a caseload that aligns with clinical and supervisory guidelines

  • Supporting students through prevention, intervention, and crisis response

  • Collaborating with school staff, families, and community resources

  • Developing and managing treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team

  • Conducting assessments and delivering evidence‑based interventions

  • Serving as a liaison to help ensure coordinated care for students and families

What We’re Looking For

Required Licensure (or in progress):

  • PLPC

  • LPC

  • LMSW

  • LCSW

💡 Preferred Family Healthcare provides no‑cost supervision for PLPCs and LMSWs, with a built‑in salary increase once full licensure is achieved.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with individual, family, or group therapy preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
