10 month position (work 185 days for full school year)

Qualifications/Requirements: Previous experience in law enforcement is required, and school resource officer experience is preferred. Must meet local licensing requirements as a security officer, as defined through St. Charles County. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, staff, and the community. Excellent decision-making ability, demonstrating a high degree of initiative, independent judgement, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Proficient in conflict de-escalation and emergency response techniques. The ability to carry a firearm, in accordance with local laws and district policies.

Location: Journey Elementary

Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience; minimum of $25.23 per hour
