School Psychologist

This is a School Psychologist for the District.

Qualifications:

? Holds a New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with a School Psychologist Endorsement.

? Holds a 60-credit combined Master's Degree and Professional Diploma or equivalent earned from an approved School Psychologist program

? Demonstrates ability to effectively provide psychological evaluations, psychosocial assessments, counseling services and student mental health consultative services

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a member of the Child Study Team and performs all responsibilities in accordance with NJ Special Education Administrative code, and Board policies/regulations.
  • Develops with other Child Study Team members, teachers, and parents, an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each identified student
  • Serves as a case manager for students referred and classified as Eligible for Special Education following NJ Department of Ed guidelines. In this role as a case manager, coordinates and serves as a facilitator for all special education mandated meetings.

REA Salary Guide
BA Step 1: $57,828- MA+30 Step OG1: $104,576
