Job Description

Multiple vacancies exist for School Psychologists to work within the Office of Student Services - Mental Health Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. These positions will primarily support the MCIU's School Age K-12 classrooms and Non Pub schools and programs.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA certification in School Psychology required.
• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred. (NASP-approved programs preferred)
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by MCIU upon hire).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Completion of school-age evaluations for both public school and non-public schools.
• Consult with teachers to educate them on various disabilities and provide strategies on how to work with them in the classroom.
• Provide trainings for school personnel throughout Montgomery County.

Location:

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and provide services to students in School Age K-12 and Non-Pub classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA. Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)

2025-2026Salary:

Master's, Step 1: $65,007/year

Master's+30, Step 1: $71,995/year

Master's+60, Step 1: $74,853/year

*Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master's Degree.
