School of Engineering - Project Staff (AI & Automation)
[What you will be working on]
• Support the department's administrative, operational, and project coordination functions.
• Analyse and redesign business processes to improve efficiency through process optimisation, automation, digitalisation, and Agentic AI.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain workflow automation, AI-driven solutions, business applications, and dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend technology solutions, and deliver digital transformation initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Develop reusable frameworks, standards, documentation, and training materials to support sustainable process excellence.
• Provide user support, troubleshoot deployed solutions, and ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student learning outcomes in automation, process excellence, and AI.
[What we are looking for]
• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in process improvement, automation, digital transformation, and AI technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI) is required.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, or AI application development is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively. Candidates without prior experience in the above technologies should demonstrate the aptitude and willingness to learn quickly.
