Our Lady of the Lake School Custodian

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00 pm full time or 6:00am - 10:00am part time

Days: Monday - Friday

Summary: Responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting all areas of the school. Perform basic clearing, sanitation, and minor maintenance of the school building and associated grounds including basic landscaping, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Would be adjusted for part time schedule

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned facilities, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and removing waste.
• Clean and maintain surfaces, walls, vents, drinking fountains, sinks, toilets, windows, doors, and other facility areas as needed.
• Remove graffiti and address cleaning needs promptly.
• Set up and take down furniture for events, annual cleaning, and special projects.
• Maintain outdoor school grounds, including basic landscaping, snow removal, and minor maintenance as needed.
• Replace light bulbs, batteries, clocks, and other basic items as needed.
• Secure windows and doors and ensure assigned facilities are properly maintained.
• Properly use, care for, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies while following workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Perform seasonal, project-specific, and other duties as assigned by the principal or supervisor.

Physical requirements necessary to perform essential position duties:

• Stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Lift up to 75lbs.
• Climb ladders and work at heights.
• Use hand tools.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $23 - $30 per hour. Any offered salary is determined

based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills, and prior relevant

experience, degrees, and certifications.

Benefits: A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options,
