School Crossing Supervisor

Casual | Band 1A +25% - $38.22 P/H + Industry Allowance + Super

Location: Across the City of Yarra

Help keep children and families safe on their way to and from school!

Yarra City Council is looking for friendly and reliable people to join our team as School Crossing Supervisors.

This is a great casual job for anyone who enjoys being outdoors, wants flexible hours, and is passionate about helping the community.

About the Job

  • Casual position: around 1 hour in the morning and/or afternoon, school days only
  • Up to 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day maximum
  • Help children and families cross the road safely at school crossings
  • Be a friendly face in your local neighbourhood
  • Work as part of a supportive and inclusive team

What You Need

  • A strong sense of responsibility and care for child safety
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic understanding of road safety rules
  • Access to your own vehicle or public transport and a smartphone
  • Willingness to travel to different crossings in the Yarra area
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
