
Position requires an active and valid PA PK-12 School Counselor (or Secondary School Counselor) Certification. Previous experience as a secondary school counselor preferred.
The candidate should have strong skills in supporting students' academic, social-emotional, and personal growth during the critical transition years of early adolescence. This support includes direct service on issues such as peer conflict, family stress, and academic struggles. The candidate will be asked to deliver classroom and small group lessons on a variety of topics based on data, building, and district covering topics including college and career planning, academic and executive functioning skills, and CVSD's Portrait of an Eagle competencies. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families, design and implements 504 plans, and connect students and families to community resources as needed.
