CORA Services, Inc is a dynamic not for profit organization in Philadelphia with a mission to empower children, young people and families to thrive through quality and compassionate service. For more than 50 years, CORA has served children and families experiencing emotional, academic and social challenges that impact their development and productivity. Our School Services Division provides a range of school support services to students in more than 100 non-public and charter schools throughout Philadelphia.

We are currently recruiting School Counselors for the 2025-2026 school year New/recent grads are encouraged to apply!

Full-time,10-month positions available – part-time options may also be available

Minimum starting salary $51,000

We offer LPC supervision hours to obtain PA State Licensure, ongoing support and supervision, as well as a number of agency sponsored professional development and continuing education opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

All CORA team members are expected to uphold the mission, vision and values of CORA Services which includes valuing all individuals and supporting each individual’s potential for growth.

In addition, as a School Counselor your duties will include:

  • Providing individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance lessons for K-12 students in non-public schools in Philadelphia
  • Offering consultation services to students, parents/guardians, and school personnel; collaborating with school administration and staff, CORA’s multi-disciplinary team, and outside service providers, as needed.
  • Effectively managing caseload and completing required documentation, including data entry and final reports.
  • Participating in professional meetings to increase knowledge and skillset
  • Adhering to agency, departmental, and school policies and guidelines
  • Other duties and projects as assigned or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

CORA Counselors provide support services to diverse student populations and their families. We strive to create a culturally competent team of counselors who demonstrate respect, humility, curiosity and an open mind, while reflecting these values in the communities we serve.

Qualified candidates will be able to provide examples of how they have demonstrated these values and qualities with previous employers and in other settings

Master's Degree in relevant discipline

PA Certification in School Counseling
