School Counsellor – North-West Coast, Tasmania
Part-Time Fixed Term position (with the possibility of extension) until 24/12/2026
The School Counsellor role is an outreach position on the North-West Coast of Tasmania. The program, partners with Primary and Secondary Catholic Schools across Tasmania, to deliver therapeutic, one-on-one child-focused counselling to students as well as group work and consultation with school staff and care givers. Students seeking counselling may be experiencing a broad range of issues such as social relationship difficulties, family separation, anxiety, challenges with emotional regulation and management, family violence or other forms of trauma.
