Project MuSE

Project MuSE is a multi-year transformational education project with the key component of the project being a 6- year programme that includes an in-school/after-school sports and instrumental music training for primary school students. More information can be found at https://jcprojectmuse.hk/en/

The Academy is inviting applications for the following post, who will be stationing at one of our participating schools:

School Coordinator (25260669)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clerical, administrative, logistical support and compile regular reports to project’s Central Coordination Team and the related school teachers;
  • Serve as the primary contact person in a designated primary school to facilitate effective information exchange among key stakeholders of the project;
  • Communicate and coordinate between various parties to schedule events and ensure smooth execution of the project;
  • Manage activity enrollment, maintain attendance log, collect research data and undertake tasks related to participant and parent engagement;
  • Organise and oversee the implementation of in-school publicity, promotional items and events, ensuring alignment with the project’s branding guidelines and marketing initiatives;
  • Assist in enhancing facilities and coordinating the purchase, maintenance and inventory taking of sports equipment and musical instruments; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the project and the school.

Requirements:

  • Completed post-secondary education with some years of work experience;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin);
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level of self-motivation and accountability; and
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements to Appointee:

  • Appointee will be assigned to work in a designated primary school located in Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, Tai Po, Shatin, Tung Chung and Wong Tai Sin;
  • Appointee is required to work on Saturdays and Sundays; and
  • Preference will be given to those who are immediately available.

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

S alary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
