Salary: $23,784 - $27,027 ($16.94 - $19.25 per hour), dependent on education and experience; 27 hours per week
Reporting to the Director of Veteran and Military Student Success Center (VaMSSC), the School Certifying Official is responsible for certifying benefit recipients to Veterans Affairs (VA) and providing support to military-affiliated students.
Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
One (1) or more years of experience in higher education or Veterans services
Experience working with VA educational benefits or military-affiliated student services.
Technology Skills: MS Office skills, Word, Excel, Outlook; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
Ability to work independently
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cordial working relationships
Knowledge of records management concepts and best practices
Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
