
A School Bus or Van Driver is a person who, under the supervision of an Operations Manager, or Dispatcher, operates a School Bus or Van over designated routes transporting school students or clients to and from school or other locations. In addition, a School Bus or Van Driver may transport clients on private charter trips. School Bus or Van Drivers may work with loud and disruptive clients. Drivers may also work with special needs individuals.
As a School Bus or Van Driver for the Pine-Richland School District, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care.
School Bus and Van Drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety, bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.
