This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, a proactive problem solver, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll provide community-based, school-centered case management services designed to support emotional, behavioral, and social development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering strengths-based services aligned with treatment plans from licensed mental health providers
Building trusting relationships with students, families, and school partners
Providing crisis intervention and structured problem-solving support
Coordinating care and linking families to community resources
Supporting life skills development and family engagement
Advocating for students across systems (schools, agencies, community partners)
Participating in treatment team meetings and care coordination
Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation
Collaborating with internal teams and external providers
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with children in late elementary/middle school stages
Comfortable managing a consistent caseload of 30–40 students
Emotionally grounded, patient, and relational
Organized, adaptable, and dependable
Able to work in school and community environments
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health–related field (or equivalent)
Experience providing case management services
At least 21 years of age
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to maintain Kansas state licensure and CEUs (as applicable)
Valid Kansas driver’s license and insurable driving record
Basic computer skills
Ability to pass required background and registry checks
Willingness to complete physical restraint training
Physically able to engage in activities with children
