Job DetailsJob Location: Saint Albans, VT 05478Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 HourlySoar Learning Center, an independent K–12 school and day treatment program, is seeking a School-Based Clinician to join our passionate and collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment that integrates education, mental health, and family partnership to support the success of every student. This position is a 200-day contract that follows the school schedule!
We’re looking for a positive, flexible professional who thrives in a team-based setting and brings strong collaboration skills to work alongside families, school staff, and partnering human service agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and therapeutic support
Facilitate skill-building groups tailored to students’ developmental levels and needs
Partner closely with students’ families and NCSS colleagues to ensure cohesive, trauma-informed care
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
Licensed or licensure eligible in the state of Vermont (strongly preferred)
Demonstrated ability to build rapport with youth and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams

QualificationsMaster’s Degree
Valid license (Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist) to practice in the State of Vermont, or be licensure eligible.
