School Age Teacher (Summer Program)
Location: The Learning Experience – Ashburn, VA
Pay: Starting at $20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Seasonal Summer Position | Monday–Friday

School Age Teacher – Summer Camp Program


The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking a School Age Teacher for our summer program serving school-age children. This role focuses on creating engaging activities and a structured environment where children can learn, explore, and build positive peer relationships during summer break.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise school-age children during summer program activities
• Plan engaging games, enrichment activities, and group experiences
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
• Support positive behavior and teamwork among students
• Communicate professionally with families and leadership
• Follow all Virginia licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Prior childcare or school-age program experience required
• Strong supervision and communication skills
• Reliable, energetic, and team-oriented approach
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
