ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Nord Anglia International School Dublin is part of Nord Anglia Education, a family of schools spanning more than 30 countries. Students benefit from partnerships with MIT, The Juilliard School, UNICEF and King's College London, alongside a broad, internationally minded curriculum.

The school administration team keeps the day to day running of the school on track, supporting families, staff and students across compliance, admissions, assessment and Secondary operations.

THE ROLE

You will provide day to day administrative support across the school, working closely with the Admin Manager and academic leads across the school.

You will help keep routine administrative processes running smoothly, so that academic and operational leaders can focus on their core work. This is a broad role rather than a narrow one: you will be expected to move between different areas of school administration as priorities change, and to get involved wherever the team needs a hand.

You will work onsite, dealing directly with parents, prospective families and colleagues, often at short notice and sometimes under pressure.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential

  • Confidence using everyday IT systems, and a willingness to learn school platforms such as SchoolsBuddy, iSAMS, Toddle and Microsoft 365
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several deadlines at once
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable dealing with members of the public, in person, by phone and by email
  • Able to think on your feet and adapt quickly when priorities change
  • A professional approach, with sound judgement around confidentiality

Desirable

  • Some experience in an administrative, customer service or front of house role
  • An interest in working within a school or education setting
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) or a similar curriculum

QUALITIES WE VALUE

  • Tech savvy, and / or keen to learn
  • Motivated and energetic, bringing good energy to a busy office
  • Flexible and agile, ready to help outside your usual responsibilities when the team needs it
  • A positive attitude, paired with high regard for professionalism and confidentiality
  • Used to dealing with the public, and able to think on your feet

WHAT WE OFFER

  • An onsite role within a close-knit and supportive administration team
  • Exposure to a broad range of school operations, including compliance, admissions, assessment and Secondary coordination
  • A salary paid over 12 months, even though the role is term time only
  • Membership of the Nord Anglia Education global family of schools, with access to professional development and career opportunities across the group
