WHAT A DIFFERENCE

At Primrose, our mission - to forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children - is why we do what we do each day. Primrose provides a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families. We believe who children become is as important as what they know.

We believe who YOU are is as important as what you know. We make every effort to ensure everyone feels they belong in our Primrose community. Our commitment to Belongingness means we seek similarities and respect differences in our unique backgrounds, life experiences and perspectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a School Acquisition Consultant on the Growth & Transformation team, you will guide Franchise Owners through the first phases of an acquired school’s journey to becoming a Primrose school, leading the operational transition to Primrose brand standards and Balanced Learning implementation. You will work cross-functionally to develop transition plans that help ensure operational stability, enrollment growth and brand. This is a full-time, field-based role.

  • Build a trusted, consultative relationship with the Franchise Owner from acquisition close, partnering with Sales and Development at handoff to understand each school’s staffing, enrollment, facility condition and risks
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive school-specific transition plan in partnership with the franchise owner and internal teams
  • Partner with Learning & Development to assess staff readiness and sequence training and coaching, protecting classroom quality and staff stability through conversion
  • Collaborate with Marketing on re-brand processes and communication plans for current and future families to establish trust in the Primrose brand and drive new enrollment
  • Monitor enrollment, retention, staffing and financial performance against the acquisition proforma, driving clear action plans with the Franchise Owner
  • Ensure acquisition milestones, deliverables, and timelines are completed on schedule
  • Monitor acquisition progress and proactively address barriers that may delay successful transition
  • Document findings, recommendations, and mitigation plans for leadership review
  • Escalate unresolved issues that may impact operational continuity, enrollment performance, or Franchise Owner readiness
  • Support Franchise Owners in meeting federal, state and local licensing requirements, including change-of-risk ownership processes, and Primrose standards, policies and procedures
  • Lead phase-gate and readiness reviews with cross-functional partners; report status, risks and outcomes to Growth & Transformation leadership
  • Complete a structured handoff to the Franchise Business Consultant when defined stability and readiness criteria are met

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, business or related field preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in multi-unit management, operations or program management
  • Experience with franchising and early childcare; change management or business transition experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of State Childcare Licensing rules, accreditation and curriculum implementation preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines and vendors; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to navigate conflict and difficult conversations and influence without authority
  • Ability to travel to acquired schools as needed

WHAT YOU WILL GET

  • Commission or bonuses based on personal and company performance
  • 50% tuition reimbursement for up to three children at any Primrose Schools
  • Full-time team members are eligible for health, dental and vision insurance
  • 401k with company matching up to 3.5% and life insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program
