The Projects & Processes Control Centers department. This department leads development and coordination of systems, processes, and technologies that support the Energy Control Centers (ECC) across Avangrid. The team is responsible for driving technological evolution and ensuring alignment across all ECC operations.
An Energy Control Center (ECC) acts as the central hub for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing electrical transmission, distribution, and generation systems in real time. These centers ensure grid stability, manage, and coordinate infrastructure – such as substations and power lines – to maintain reliable power delivery.
