Our Operations Cluster team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Schemes Management and Settlement Officer

In this role you will be responsible for the validation of initial chargeback on disputed credit card transactions based on schemes' rules and regulations and processing of dispute progression or escalation. You will also be responsible for the validation of advisories to cardholders of the resolution and status of the disputed transactions.

What the role will entail

  • Review disputed transactions, chargeback reason codes, and supporting documents against card scheme rules to prevent losses and approve first‑level chargeback resolutions.
  • Recommend and prepare dispute escalations, financial adjustments, and journal entries, and coordinate cardholder updates for dispute progression.
  • Validate correctness of advisories and notifications to be sent to cardholders on dispute status/ resolution or final disposition
  • Check monthly schedules and monitors disposition and provide status of floats items
  • Participates in the user acceptance testing for MC and Visa Compliance testing to avert penalties on non-compliance


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in any business course
  • At least two (2) years relevant experience in credit card chargeback/dispute processing
  • Strong knowledge of business operations, risk management, accounting, and credit card systems, including Ascend and any other credit card systems
  • Proficient in systems and data analysis, with advanced analytical and investigative skills.
  • Deep expertise in Mastercard and Visa chargeback rules and end‑to‑end dispute processing.
  • Effective communicator with strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and customer focus.
