Job Responsibilities

Regional Schedule Risk Management

-Maintain high risk projects list by region.Monthly overview with Operations, Executives, and Senior Superintendents in charge of the region or reporting to the Regional Leadership Team. -Forensic review and recovery on delay projects. -Organize deep dives with team, Project Executive and Senior Superintendent. -Follow up on actions resulting from deep dives.
-RFP Preparation
-Early communication with Marketing/Preconstruction teams to make sure the schedule request is not last minute. -Advise Estimating team budget to support scheduling upon project award.Review RFPs developed by regional Schedulers.

Pre-construction Scheduling Management

-Review the contract/scheduling spec and advise Estimating of budget required to support the spec. -Setup a schedule management process with the team/Project Executive and agree to budgeted hours. -Review and “approve” baseline schedule submissions. -Ensure baseline schedules have the appropriate detail and pass a health review. -Ensure team is clear on schedule document management and baseline management processes.

Construction Scheduling Management

-Regularly perform spot checks on schedules managed by the team or regional schedulers. -Review for missed/incorrect delay documentation. -Review critical paths and identify slippage trends.Inform Project Executive/Project Manager/Superintendent of any concerns. -Review short term and mid-term lookaheads and communicate critical activities to team to ensure activities are on track. -As required, ensure owner schedule review meetings are setup and documented appropriately. -Attend as required.

Regional Support

-Mentor and provide directions to support staff for project coverage. -Work with Senior Superintendent to develop a regional schedule training plan.Update training tools. -Identify what the trends say we need.Research latest trends/developments in construction scheduling. -This position will be supporting multiple projects, as well as working at various jobsites

Qualifications

-Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline. -15+ years scheduling experience on commercial construction projects. -Proven success implementing strategic initiatives. -Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 software. -Detail-oriented and can manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance. -Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with owners, subcontractors, senior leaders, and project teams. -High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
