Job Description

Location: Norwich, Kansas
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Fridays as needed based on operational needs
Reports To: Production Control

Compensation: $18/hour, increases with experience


     The Scheduling and Data Coordinator maintains accurate production data, develops             and updates production schedules, coordinates information across departments, and           supports production, shipping, and delivery objectives. 


Essential Job Functions

Scheduling and Data Coordinator
  • Ensure production data is entered in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Develop, maintain, and update daily production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to meet delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments, including the Pattern Shop, Shipping, Quality, Customer Service, and other operational teams, to promote efficient workflow and clear communication.
  • Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Shipping and Logistics Support
  • Coordinate and schedule truck pickups, deliveries, and loads.
  • Ensure products are ready for scheduled shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, weights, and other shipment information is accurate
  • Weigh boxes, containers, pallets, and other materials and maintain accurate shipping information and documentation.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong skills in organization, communication, and time-management, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform hands-on shipping duties, including weighing materials and assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate applicable material-handling equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in production scheduling, production control, shipping, logistics, inventory control, data entry, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with SyteLine or another ERP system.
  • Experience coordinating freight, carriers, or logistics.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office-based with regular interaction in manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, and operational areas.
  • Work may occur in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull as necessary to perform essential functions.
  • Ability to handle boxes, packages, pallets, and shipping materials and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Must follow all required PPE and safety procedures.
