Accountable for accurate invasive radiology scheduling, collection of pertinent patient demographic information, and securing appointments with supporting service departments and providers. Demonstrates good communication skills with radiology staff, providers and office staff.

Professional Standards
Accountable for daily outcomes and continued improvement of invasive radiology scheduling accuracy.
Reviews schedules daily to ensure accuracy of patient, time, provider and procedure.
Coordinates invasive procedures with availability of other hospital departments, providers, and vendors.
Communicates with Clinical Manager, providers, Charge RN, and other appropriate staff when special circumstances arise.
Assists radiology receptionists during lunches, vacations, illnesses or in instances of high patient volume.

Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.

· Education: High School diploma or equivalent and medical terminology course.
