Join Team AMT today as a Scheduling Assistant!

This full-time position is responsible for organizing and maintaining daily ambulance schedules. In this position you will work directly with our field staff, dispatch team, and managers to coordinate schedule coverage, emergency and non-emergency transport.

Examples of duties:

• Develop, manage, and adjust daily crew schedules
• Communicate with EMTs, paramedics, and dispatchers to confirm scheduling details and troubleshoot shift cancellations or changes
• Monitor and document staff attendance and shift changes
• Assist in planning coverage for PTO, sick leave, and holidays
• Maintain accurate records of scheduling special events within company software systems
• Identify staffing or scheduling issues and proactively communicate with management to resolve conflicts

The position is based in our Peoria office with semi-flexible scheduling, as follows: Saturday and Sunday, 8 hour shifts must include core hours from noon to 4:00PM

Three (3) self selected weekdays (Monday -Friday), noon to 9:00PM

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in scheduling, EMS, healthcare, or transportation industry preferred.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
