This position is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of manpower, equipment and materials in the most efficient and cost effective manner to support the business unit performance measures

Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.Directly or through others, the incumbent will:

• Directly responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all manpower, equipment and materials in the assigned work areas with consideration given to safe working conditions, parts, workforce availability, scope, cost effectiveness and management of additional support.

• Directs and coordinates the daily activities of technicians.

• Effectively interfaces with peers and other personnel to ensure consistent work practices and sharing of knowledge to optimize in performing mining activities.

• Participates in special projects and committee assignments as needed.

• Directly responsible for building and planning weekly schedule in Maximo for Electrical Department.

• Responsible for managing and updating backlog in Maximo.

• Handles scheduling of vacation and overtime for the Electrical Department.

• Handles PODs for crews and working with supervisors for daily task assignments.

• Directly responsible for ordering needed materials for each job and ensuring good job plans are available for electricians.

• Along with Superintendent handles after hour calls and issues and weekend duty.

• Assist in training and development of electricians and apprentices.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED equivalent

• MSHA electrical certification

• MSHA Surface certification or equivalent experience to qualify to get certification

• Minimum 5 years mining electrical or relevant industry experience
