  • Verifying patient demographics and insurance information, obtaining physician orders and required pre-certifications or authorizations, and accurately documenting information in scheduling and registration systems.
  • Communicating with patients, physicians’ offices, and insurance carriers to resolve scheduling issues, clarify coverage requirements, and address potential out-of-network or benefit limitations.
  • Providing clear instructions regarding appointment preparation, special testing requirements, and necessary documentation to help patients arrive informed and ready for their scheduled services.
  • Reviewing upcoming schedules and collaborating with registration staff and clinical departments to ensure appropriate staffing, equipment, and resources are available for scheduled procedures and tests.
  • Managing incoming phone calls and scheduling requests with professionalism, courtesy, and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, protecting confidential health information, and following established privacy policies and procedures, including HIPAA requirements.
  • Prioritizing competing demands, exercising sound judgment, and maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced medical environment while working independently and supporting departmental goals.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm.
