At Parkway Health & Rehabilitation Center, every shift matters. As our Nurse Scheduler, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our nursing teams are properly staffed, organized, and prepared to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Located in Boston, Parkway is a 141-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community providing both Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care Our interdisciplinary team supports residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, as well as those who require ongoing skilled nursing care. As Nurse Scheduler, you'll work closely with nursing leadership, Human Resources, employees, and agency partners to coordinate staffing in a fast-paced healthcare environment where accuracy, communication, and attention to detail make a real difference.
You'll take ownership of the nursing schedule, balancing staffing needs with census, employee availability, PTO, attendance, leaves of absence, and budgeted staffing guidelines. You'll also help maintain accurate timekeeping and payroll information while ensuring leadership has the information needed to make effective daily staffing decisions.
