  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in staffing or as a scheduler
  • Prior experience in home care scheduling, healthcare coordination, or staffing (preferred)
  • Proficiency with scheduling software or EMR systems
  • Ability to remain calm and solution‑focused in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to high‑quality service

What you will be doing:

Scheduling & Staffing:

• Create, manage, and adjust caregiver schedules to meet client needs
• Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, and compatibility
• Respond promptly to call‑outs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing needs
• Maintain accurate records of all schedule updates and communications

Client & Caregiver Communication:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for caregivers regarding schedules
• Communicate professionally with clients and families regarding staffing updates
• Support caregivers with shift details, directions, and expectations
• Build strong relationships to promote retention and satisfaction

Operational Support:

• Maintain compliance with agency policies and NJ home care regulations
• Document all schedule changes in the agency’s scheduling system
• Assist with onboarding tasks, orientation scheduling, and credential tracking
• Participate in on‑call rotation as assigned

Salary Range:

  • 20.00-24.00 depending on years of experience in home care.


Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
