About This Role:
The Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Technician provides respiratory protection and technical support for Fire and Rescue Services personnel. This position is responsible for maintaining all fire department breathing apparatus, performing repairs, and conducting annual testing required by OSHA.

MSA Care certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
This position requires: balancing, reaching, standing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, and intense noises.
Work Schedule:
The incumbent will need to be able to work a flexible schedule work week of no more than 37.5 hours
Starting Salary Range $21.14-$32.17 per hour
