Great scaffold supervisors don't just build access solutions. They build strong teams.

We're looking for a Scaffold Supervisor to join our Industrial & Energy business in a permanent full-time role, leading scaffold crews across maintenance and project works.

This role will suit someone who takes pride in developing people, creating a positive team culture and delivering work safely and efficiently. You'll be trusted to lead from the front, coordinate day-to-day operations and build strong relationships with clients, supervisors and work crews.

What you'll do

  • Lead scaffold crews to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality work
  • Plan daily activities, labour allocation and resource requirements
  • Coordinate with supervisors, clients and subcontractors to meet project requirements
  • Conduct toolbox talks, pre-starts and safety inspections
  • Mentor and develop scaffolders within the team
  • Monitor productivity, quality and project performance
  • Manage workforce documentation, timesheets and site reporting
  • Champion Downer's Zero Harm culture and lead by example

What we're looking for

  • Advanced Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence
  • Strong scaffolding experience within industrial, maintenance or project environments
  • Previous experience leading crews and coordinating site activities
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and White/Blue Card
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Strong understanding of scaffold safety, planning and execution
  • Ability to motivate teams and build a positive work culture
  • Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
