About the Role
The Scaffold Builder is responsible for the safe, efficient assembly and disassembly of scaffolding systems at various job sites. This role also supports the loading and unloading of equipment between the warehouse, trucks, and job locations. Work is performed outdoors and at elevated heights, requiring physical stamina and strict adherence to safety standards.
Starting Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Mobilize scaffolding materials and equipment across work areas to support erection and dismantling activities.
Assemble and disassemble scaffolding components in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Assist with loading and unloading scaffolding equipment from trucks, warehouses, and job sites.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow instructions from the lead scaffold erector, foreman, or manager.
Demonstrate consistent awareness of personal and team safety, supporting one of the strongest safety cultures in the industry.
Perform additional tasks or special assignments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Physically able to lift 70 lbs. repeatedly.
Comfortable climbing and working at heights of 30 feet or more.
Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
Able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
Must pass drug testing, a criminal background check, and E‑Verify authorization.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
One year of experience in scaffolding construction or related trades.
Valid in‑state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Basic knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, and safe‑work practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to manage time effectively and maintain productivity.
Willingness to learn and continuously improve knowledge of scaffolding products and industry standards.
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Working Conditions
Extended periods working outdoors in natural elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
Frequent work performed 30+ feet above ground level.
Regular handling of heavy materials and equipment for long durations.
Fast‑paced, physically demanding environment requiring focus and situational awareness.
