Under direction from Company management and agricultural experts, support farmers to produce seed and chip-stock that meets international standards of PepsiCo for Crisp (chips) processing.


Responsibilities

Crop scouting and follow ups.

• Farm advisory service and help farmers from sowing till harvesting and handling.

• Ensure that good agricultural practices are followed on the farms producing potatoes for PepsiCo.

• Provide visibility of crop performance in the field and recommend corrective actions.

• Participate in training and other forms of Best Practices transfer to the Pakistan farmers.

• Help Agro regional manager in variety trials, evaluation and other research as and when required.

• New area development to stretch the fresh window for continuous fresh potato supply to reduce reliance on expensive storage and got best quality fresh Potatoes.

• SQA Journey with seed and chip stock traceability from seed to finish goods.

• Training to field team and farmers staff on crop best practices.

• Use of the agro machinery and field operation solution for WIN WIN, as cost effective and Quality management.

• Under direction, manage specific potato projects and programs.

• Help farmers in better crop management.

• Help Agro Regional Manager in AOP volumes procurements.

• Help Agro Regional Manager in potato variety field trials in Pakistan.

• Farms visits and advisory efficacy.

• Field testing, data collection, growers' complaint handling.

• General advisory to growers without recommendation any brands.

• Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time to time assigned by the manager.


Qualifications

B.Sc. (Hons)/M.Sc. in Agriculture Knowledge of potato growing area, farmers and crop management.

Technical Know-how About Different Pest and Their Control. Fluent in local languages.

Computer Skills with 1 / 2 years’ experience at supervisory level with any pesticide/seed company or 2–3-years' experience with Agro base field work. Collaborates well with others to deliver results
